Owner-Operator

Chris Grocki is a veteran in the restaurant and hospitality scene as well as a Certified Sommelier and beverage professional. A keen interest in bringing the best of the dining-out scene (having run Rochester restaurants from Char and Hattie’s at the Strathallan Hotel to the Erie Grill at the Del Monte Lodge) to special events motivates his work as owner-operator of the Historic German House. He oversees the HGH’s beverage programs directly (having helped create cocktail programs from Good Luck to downtown’s Nikko to Next Door by Wegmans), and continues to build and consult for numerous wine programs from California to New York City. 

Jessica Rahill

Head of Event Planning

Jessica Rahill brings10+ years of wedding and event planning experience to her role here at the Historic German House. Hailing from the mid-west, she has managed several venues and event planning services in her previous home state of Oklahoma. (The Myriad Botanical Gardens, Daffodil Hill Weddings and Events, and Happy Day Planning). Her industry experience, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Performance from Idaho State University (Go Bengals!), allow her to visualize and execute beautiful, top-notch events.
